News Day has arrived at Bullers Wood School. It started at 8.30 with a team meeting and then we all split up into groups to work on different stories. Cassie and Yasmine took the weather with MP Bob Neill at 9.15 this morning as part of a Guiness World Record attempt to make the Worlds Largest Interactive Weather Report. It has been hectic ever since with different links and interviews being filmed all over the school. We even had a visit from a local Newspaper Journalist who is writing a story for the Bromley Times about our participation in the School Report. We filmed the ‘live’ studio links at 2pm this afternoon and we are currently editing the clips together. We are hoping to beat the deadline set by the BBC to upload the News Report by 4pm this afternoon.

Weather Report Update - Now that the results have been compiled, it looks like a new world record. The reading at each school was verified by an independent witness and it now needs Guinness World Records to give their official verification. We should know in the next few weeks if we have been successful.

Miss Hoffman and Miss Provost would like to thank the Year 9 and Year 13 students for their enthusiasm and hard work today. Also massive thanks to the ICT Dept and to Miss Spence and Mr Cross.
